Chandni Sembhi, Team TDS' London branch, is a senior producer at PinkNews where she creates pop culture content, and founder of SoYouWantToBeAJournalist where she helps people enter media careers like journalism! As her job probably gives away, Chandni is big on all things pop culture and entertainment, and she is incredibly passionate about seeing South Asian representation in those spaces, whether that's in the form of well-written characters in sitcoms, or on-screen news presenters, etc.
She is also a massive foodie and very into sustainable, but still cheap (we can thank her thrifty parents for this one) fashion. Chandni is based in London and it really is one of the best cities ever (although she might be biased).
Meera Tikku is currently a senior at The University of Pittsburgh (Hail to Pitt!). Outside of writing papers and creating social media content, you can find her exploring Pittsburgh with friends, watching 2000s Bollywood movies, and practicing her harmonica.
